This was the year of many experimental performances. One memorable performance from this season was the 40th anniversary celebration of British composer Peter Maxwell Davies’ Eight Songs for a Mad King – semi-staged production of the San Antonio, featuring guest artists, flutist Allison Jewett, bass-baritone Timothy Jones, and Brett Mitchel, conductor.
